Party Games!!!

Snuggle Up and Read!

Thank You!!!

My cup runneth over! I can't thank you all for the wonderful gifts, cards, notes and hugs!  You and your children truly made my holiday so special!  There are thank you notes in most book bags and I hope they find their way to you.  If they don't make it home, please accept my heartfelt gratitude.  If a child gave me a gift late in the day, please accept my apology for their not being a thank you note in the book bag.  I do appreciate every single gift, but I just ran out of time towards the end of the day!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Gazzo,  Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Wheeler for putting together our fabulous party!  The children had so much fun playing Minute to Win It games and making a special ornament.  Please look for the ornament in your child's book bag.  I have lots of party pictures that I will be posting later!

In each student book bag is a copy of your child's CogAT and ITBS scores.  Please find this envelope and go over the scores carefully.

I wish you all a safe and happy holiday!  I hope you each get to enjoy quiet, relaxing time with your families!  Merry Christmas to all!

The Ladder of Accountability

Ask your students about The Ladder of Accountability.  We watched the video linked below, had some great discussions about life behaviors and then they each made a ladder.  I think it was very eye opening for many of them.  Our motto for 2014 will be, "Living at the top of the ladder!"    We are going to be working very hard to move away from the "red" behaviors on the bottom of  the ladder. I encourage you to watch the video with your child and talk about how they can use these behaviors as we move toward Middle School readiness!  Thank you for your support!
