Tuesday is Electronic Game Day

Students may bring in electronic games.  There will be no surfing on the internet.  No social media, no texting, etc.  This is only for GAMES.  No "M" games allowed at all!  I will be keeping the device of any child doing anything inappropriate.  The parents will have to pick up the devices on the last day of school.  This is meant to be a fun day for all!

Medications!

Student medications stored in the Clinic should be picked up by a parent/guardian before the end of the school year.  Medications may not be sent home with students per GCPS county policy.  Controlled medications (for ADHD and seizures) must be signed out to a parent/guardian by Clinic Staff at time of pick up.  Medications not picked up by 4:00pm on Friday, May 23, 2014 will be discarded or turned over to a GCPS Safety Resource Officer.  Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.  Have a safe and happy summer!  Leslie Durio, RN

Lost Books

We are missing a hard text book called The Write Direction.  Please search your home for this expensive book!

We are also missing many of my personal novels from my classroom collection.  Please search for these and return them as soon as possible!  Thank you so very much!

USA lap books were due today.  They are a project/test grade in SS.  Several students did not turn them in.  They are marked 10 points off for each day late.  Please ask your child if they turned in their project today, and encourage them to turn it in tomorrow.

Book Hunt!

It's that time of year...please start searching your homes, cars, and book bags for text books, library books and any of my personal books.  My books usually have a sticker on them and my name written on the cover or inside.  I lose a multitude of books every year.  I know the students don't mean to take them home and forget about them, but it happens every year. Please search carefully and start bringing them in.  Thank you so much for helping me out with this!
