Just a gentle reminder about make-up work when students are absent. We have a large number of students who have been sick or are travelling. Please be aware of our school policy regarding make up work. I have posted it below as a reminder. It's nearly impossible for me to gather work individually for all the students that have been out recently. I post photos of our board so that you will be aware of what we are doing. Your child can collect all their make up work when they return. Thank you so much for your understanding.
D. Make-Up Work
Assignments missed during a short term absence (1-2 days) will be given upon the child’s
return. If the absence is longer than 2 days, the parent should contact the teacher to create a
plan for missed work. Students who miss ten days or more due to serious illness may be eligible
for home bound instruction.
Please do not call the office to ask that a teacher prepare missed work by the end of the day.
One day’s notice is necessary.
