Homework:
Finish your rough draft of your Gingerbread Man persuasive paper. If you were absent, you must choose whose persepctive from which you are writing (the gingerbread man, the baker, yourself, a narrator), then decide your point of view (should the gingerbread man be eaten, or should he live?), then give four or five details (reasons) supporting your point of view. Tomorrow we will revise the rough drafts and work on final copies. THIS IS NOT A NARRATIVE, BE CAREFUL!
Some students have asked about typing their paper. You may type if you want to, but bring in your rough draft on a jump drive so that you may revise it here at school.
SS: Quick Study lesson 4. Vocabulary test is tomorrow on all Chapter 5 words. Students have a KIM sheet to help them study. The KIM sheet has the word, the definition and a picture to help them remember the definition.
SS Test on chapter 5, 6.1 and 6.2 is Wednesday, 12/17
Our classroom Spelling Bee will be held Wednesday 12/17. You were given a list in your Friday Folder several weeks ago. Please let me know if you need another one.
