Just a reminder that the Awards Ceremony starts at 9:30 on Wednesday. Please make sure students wear their best dress for the occasion, but bring a change of clothes for afterwards. After the Awards Ceremony we will all come back to our class rooms briefly for hugs, pictures, etc. The 5th Grade Final Walk will start shortly after that. The parents and all K-4 students will line the halls and cheer as the 5th graders make their final walk through the hallways of Burnette. After that the students will change into their regular school clothes. The blue 5th grade t-shirt is a great choice for the afternoon. The Finale (outdoor games, etc.) will take place after the students eat lunch.
A note about Thursday: The county is asking that all students bring their EMPTY book bag to school on Thursday. Normally they do not allow students to have anything except their report card on the last day, but they now want to be able to see each yellow bus tag.
